About Black Travel Movement

Black Travel Movement is a community of over a quarter-million friends and family members who share an interest in cultivating new relationships and having epic experiences through domestic and international travel. As a member of the BTM family you have access to a wide range of travelers who are eager to share trip reviews, travel hacks, and awe-inspiring photos.

BTM’s team of experienced travel professionals is committed to helping organize high value, yet affordable travel experiences. The BTM family takes approximately 20 group trips a year, both abroad and stateside, hitting not to be missed events like the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans and our own WinterSoulFest in Colorado.

In addition to annual trips to Dubai and Egypt, 2019 will feature our inaugural Rest and Relaxation Retreat in Bali as well as the launch of BTM Cares, a service project in Haiti.

BTM is the largest and fastest growing online black travel community. Everyone is welcome to join. It doesn’t matter if you have touched all seven continents or if you have never left your home country. We’re all equal and we can all learn from one another.

We believe that black travel serves a greater purpose. When the black traveler traverses the globe, we get a broader view and we also change the global perception of blackness. We need to see the world and we also need to be seen in the world.

Come with us. It’s time to do something different.

They Say

I have been on two BTM trips. These were my first experiences with group travel. I had a great time. I liked the variety of excursions that were offered that allowed me to see the countries. It was nice to meet new people who enjoyed traveling.

Black Yacht Week was everything! This experience was relaxing and carefree. The ladies on my vessel were fabulous! We arrived as strangers and departed as friends.
